“The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie” nominated for an Agatha Award!
I couldn’t be happier to announce that “The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie” has been nominated for a 2009 Agatha Award in the ‘Best First Novel’ category.
The Agathas – named in honour of Agatha Christie – are awarded annually by Malice Domestic.
Last year, the Agatha for ‘Best Novel’ went to fellow Canadian, Louise Penny, for “The Cruellest Month”, and Louise is nominated again this year for her novel “The Brutal Telling”.
